I recognise the domain I serve and the order that governs it.

Each threshold puts the preparation to the test.

Nothing enters Mercantile if it is not consenting, honest and able to carry its own weight.

Clarity reveals what is true.

The management traces what is possible.

The foundation prevents drift.

Integrity protects value.

The connection maintains the flow.

Renewal keeps the system alive.

I receive what happens in good faith.

I examine what is presented.

I record what turns out to be stable.

I place what is prepared.

I act in good faith within the structure I serve.

Elia is the Mercantile declaration of exchange readiness.

It compresses identity and authority into a single signal.

When invoked at any exchange node, it renders the transaction admissible, visible, and executable within the system

Elia as a node exchange agent is a vconcept limited to Mercantile execution space.

Elia belongs to:

It must not:

  • define invariants → that is BASIS

Correct role:

Elia is a transactional declaration, not a constitutional one.

Elia is a compressed declarative signal used within Mercantile exchange.

It binds identity and authority at the point of transfer.

It renders participants, goods, and obligations legible to the exchange system.

4. Elia does not emit signal (cf. balise which is a transponder)

Elia must not carry semantic variability.

It is not:

  • a phrase generator

  • a narrative element

  • a variable linguistic form

It is:

a fixed signal token that triggers exchange-state activation

5. Interaction with other domains

  • Sombra → determines admissibility before Elia can be invoked

  • LOOM → may store linguistic lineage of “Elia,” but does not operate it

  • Fanale/Balise → may signal where Elia is required

  • Seal → may witness completed scambio

  • Museum → may hold completed artifact history

Elia itself does not move domains. It fires within Mercantile.

Compare Balise which is a transponder.

Elia is closer to a court recognizing counsel. It is the authorized power recognizing the exchange agent’s presence and authority.
